“The main idea of ​​the project is to produce different wines within the historical Riojan context: wines with more color and freshness, better expression of the fruit and finer adaptation of the oak.”

All wines produced in Bodegas Exopto are assemblages of the three main grape varieties of La Rioja. Depending on the type of wine, the Garnacha will be used for its fruit, the Graciano for its freshness or the Tempranillo for its structure.

Bodegas Exopto, located in Laguardia, is the perfect testimony of a complex balance between modernity and tradition: the different plots of vineyards are between 30 and 90 years old and the warehouses of the winery are made of oak or concrete, very traditional and noble materials that allow the wine to express itself and develop a great complexity of aromas and flavors.
