The 2019 Roadshow of the Designation of Origin Rioja (DOCa. Rioja) concluded with great success. The event, which included the tasting and seminar, took place on April 1 and 3, 2019 in Kunming and Nanning, two cities with a growing wine market, in the south of China.

 

The participation of the Rioja Roadshow reached an unprecedented level, that 62 famous Rioja wineries were gathered in the tasting, presenting more than 300 Rioja wines. Meanwhile, over 197 visitors came to Kunming, and 296 visitors to Nanning, all of whom were professionals from wine industry in China, including distributors, retailers, media, educators, etc.

 

 

 

In the future, DOCa. Rioja, as one of the leading international brands of Spain, will stay active and organize a variety of promotional events in the Chinese market, to discover more opportunities to promote and sell Rioja wines in the country.
