The 2nd Recommended Rioja was held on September 25. Famous wine experts, sommeliers and wine consumers were invited to form a jury to blind taste each wine. After comprehensive consideration of its sweetness, tannin, acidity, balance, aftertaste and other characteristics, the jury scored each wine in between 0 to 100.

 

 

Meanwhile, over 200 rioja wines participated in the selection, which represented the diversity of rioja wine. During the event, judges chose the top 80 wines according to their scores and selected 5 individual awards, namely: Best Rioja Red Wine, Best Rioja White Wine, Best Rioja Rose Wine, Wine Professors’ Choice, Sommeliers’ Choice and Consumers’ Choice.
