“The Puelles family has lived in Ábalos for longer than anyone can remember, and their winemaking tradition goes back just as far. The current generation, the brothers Jesús and Félix Puelles, have enlarge the Molino (Mill) Estate and converted it into a lovely wine cellar, standing alongside the old 17th century water mill which the family bought from the town council in 1844. This Tempranillo-planted, single vineyard bodega follows organic growing methods and produces and ages the wine with the utmost care and attention, before bottling them as an “Estate Wine” under the “El Molino de Puelles” label.”
