DENOMINATION OF ORIGIN Ca. RIOJA Nalda, La Rioja. (Spain) GRAPE VARIETY: 65% Viura (over 80 years old), 30% Maturana. 5% Tempranillo Blanco. ALCOHOL CONTENT: 14% Vol. TASTING NOTES Clean and bright wine with pale-yellow color and glints. Complex and elegant nose, deep intensity dominated by white fruits, balsamic aromas and creamy oaky background. While getting oxygenated, its complexity increases developing mineral and laurel notes. On the palate: lightly dry at tasting, vertical all the way with good acidity well -integrated by its fleshy character. There are balsamic, floral and citrus flavors aftertaste. Pleasant saline finish staying long in the mouth. TECHNICAL DATA Sorting Viuras aged more than 80 years and Maturana and Tempranillo vineyards planted with north orientation at a height of more than 800m. Handpicking in 18 kg crates. Each variety is elaborated separately in French oak “foudres” of 3500 liters where there is also a 7 month aging on yeast. 8 month bottle aging before marketing.Long bottling improves the stunning taste of this wine.
