On December 8th, at Guangzhou Ritz Carlton hotel, Rioja held a Gala Dinner where the 2023 Rioja in China Awards were given to the best Rioja Wine importers and to the best Rioja Ambassadors of the year.
The Rioja Ambassadors’ Award for 2022 goes to Gorga and Violet Rain (Liu Siyu & Wu Ni) and The Rioja Ambassadors’ Award for 2023 goes to Zhang Hui and Chen Shi.
Rioja expressed its gratitude to the efforts done by the importers and distributors in the development of the market for Rioja wines in 2023. The 12 distributors won BEST RIOJA DISTRIBUTOR, BEST RIOJA OFF TRADE DISTRIBUTOR, BEST RIOJA ON TRADE DISTRIBUTOR and BEST RIOJA RETAILER awards.
With the successful completion of Rioja Winter Roadshow and Gala Dinner, this brought year 2023 to a successful close. Rioja will continue to serve as a solid foundation for Chinese wine merchants to provide more support and assistance to the Chinese market in the coming year. Look forward to seeing Rioja again in 2024 with more exciting promotions and lively activities.
